Welcome to WhiskeyWhiskers Maine Coons, a small home-based cattery located in Connecticut and proudly registered with TICA, CFA, and CFF.
The health and well-being of our cats are our highest priorities. All of our queens and sires are tested for FIV and FeLV before entering our breeding program. Our breeding cats undergo comprehensive DNA testing through Wisdom Panel, receive regular wellness examinations, and have echocardiograms performed by licensed veterinary cardiologists.
All of our felines are cherished members of our family. In fact, my husband and I often joke that we are simply two devoted servants living in their house!
Our breeding program is dedicated to producing healthy, well-socialized companions with exceptional temperaments. We also place great importance on preserving and improving the Maine Coon breed standard. As professionals who work alongside architects and engineers, we appreciate structure, balance, and thoughtful design—qualities that are equally important in responsible breeding.
Like a fine barrel of whiskey, our breeding program continues to mature and improve with time. Careful planning, extensive research, and selective breeding require patience, but they allow us to better understand the lines we work with and consistently strive for excellence in health, temperament, and type.
The inspiration behind our cattery name comes from both whiskey and whiskers. According to folklore, cat whiskers are considered a symbol of good luck. Just as the phrase “by a whisker” describes a fortunate outcome, whiskers help cats navigate the world safely, avoid danger, and contribute to their unmistakable charm and beauty. We hope our kittens bring that same joy, luck, and companionship to the families who welcome them into their homes.
Meet our Queens and Sires
Angel
King — Angel is a insistent lap dweller. He knows he is a king and expects to be treated accordingly. Already having sired his first litter, we expect many more gorgeous furry babies from him in the future.
Cleopatra
Queen — Cleopatra is a sweet, playful bundle of joy. She has a beautiful blue shiny coat. We are so thrilled to add her sweetness and confidence to our program. She likes her new room, with toys and lots of sunshine.
Bella
Our beautiful blue silver torbie queen with a soft, silky coat, a stunning long tail, and luxurious fluffy pants. Bella adores cuddles and has a personality that makes her the undisputed queen of the house. She loves being involved in everything and always likes to be in charge. We are excited about her future litters and hope to welcome gorgeous silver babies in both blue and cream colors.
Lena
Queen — Lena is a special girl, coming in from Italy. Her type and temperament are an absolute treasure for our cattery. A balance of beauty, grace and energy, that it is sure to captivate.
Itzacoon Amon
Our handsome Maine Coon king-in-the-making, whose unstoppable energy keeps life exciting. His striking black smoke coat adds both elegance and irresistible charm. Despite his regal appearance, Amon is all heart—the kind of boy who loves being around people and has a special talent for getting everyone involved in his games and adventures. Playful, affectionate, and full of personality, he brings joy wherever he goes. We can’t wait to see his future kittens inherit his bold presence, wonderful temperament, and ability to bring happiness to the world.
Caesaria - Retired
Queen — Our first Queen, this “tortie” is a beauty, with a strong, almost regal presence.
Daliya -Retired
Queen — Daliya is our eldest. With a couple of litters already had, she has proven to be a good mother. She’s a purring machine that likes her ears scratched and rubbed.
