Time spent with cats is never wasted.

Since I can remember there had been a cat in our home. It was endless entertainment, and a reason to quickly finish my chores and homework for the extra time to play with my furry friend. All cats are precious, intelligent, each with its own captivating charm and unique character, uplifting spirits and invoking such effective antidepressant emotions.

After a couple of years without having a cat, I never stopped dreaming about having one or two again. My husband, who was always a dog person, accepted the idea of getting a kitty, and once we did, he immediately changed his mind, in favor of cats.

All felines are a masterpiece, but the magnificence of the Maine Coon breed, I believe, is the most royal and majestic of them all (The Mysterious Maine Coon History).

After falling for an expensive and foolish scam (10 Tips to Avoid Online Cat Adoption Scams), we found a reputable breeder, and Korin, our first Maine Coon cat, was soon on his way home. But it didn’t stop there, as some breeders like to say, “There are never too many Maine Coons in the house.”

Shortly after, we acquired Altin (our Sire) and Caeseria (our first Queen). Daliya joined our family just recently, but she wiggled her way into our hearts instantly and gave us a New Years Eve litter. Caeseria’s litter came as a Christmas gift last year (2022), with at least 3 kittens showing on the ultrasound, 5 Christmas presents were delivered. These are exciting times at our house. We are a very small cattery and plan to stay that way. Our Whiskey Whiskers have free access to any space in the house.

We plan to have not more than 2-3 litters per year, so there are very limited additions. All kittens, as well as mom and dad, are TICA registered, and if you fall in love with any of our Whiskey Whiskers, you will need to find a way to come here to CT. We will give preference to those willing to come and pick up their pet in person. This is to ensure the safety of the cat or kitten and to prevent what would be a very stressful experience in travelling, as well as to meet our buyers face to face.
